Watch Dogs games join the memories
Ubisoft has apparently canceled several Watch Dogs games following the commercial failure of Watch Dogs: Legion.
Watch Dogs: Legion was a free fall for Ubisoft's open-world series; Because the idea of "controlling every single non-playable character" didn't pan out, four years later there are still plenty of questions about the future of Watch Dogs. However, apparently, gamers should not wait for a new version of this series at least this soon.
As Ubisoft-focused content creator j0nathan claims, the Watch Dogs games are done and there's no need to wait for a new installment in the series. When asked about the production of a new version of Watch Dogs, the content creator noted that the series has been shelved. Apparently, Ubisoft has canceled a number of Watch Dogs-related projects, including a battle royale game, after the commercial failure of Watch Dogs: Legion.
It is still unknown if Ubisoft plans to develop a new version of Watch Dogs, but it seems that the developer has more important plans and is not thinking about this series. Although apparently fans will have to wait a long time to experience another game from this series, the Watch Dogs movie is in production.
